Transforming lives through music
Our Mission
Together with like-minded partners, we aim to create a force for an improved society with the help of the unifying power of music. We want to open doors to the world of music for everyone, focusing on opportunities to those who might not otherwise have the chance to actively engage in, or have access to high quality music and music education. We seek to act as a counterbalance to the trends in society towards superficiality and intolerance, building on the innate potential of music and musicianship to unite people across ages and cultures.

OUR PARTNERS CREATE AND DELIVER MUSIC PROGRAMMES THAT ARE TRULY INSPIRATIONAL.
Since 2023, we’ve substantially grown the Signatur Programme in the UK, and in 2025 we proudly support over twenty creative and cultural organisations based in towns and cities across the country.
We are working together to actively transform music education, train the next generation of socially conscious music educators, support young creatives to discover their creative passions, break down barriers to access, and harness the power of music to support people’s mental health and wellbeing.

BEYOND BORDERS: SIGNATUR FOUNDATION SWEDEN
The Signatur Programme is active in both the United Kingdom and Sweden. In the UK, it is delivered directly by The Karlsson Játiva Charitable Foundation. In Sweden, the programme is implemented by Signatur Foundation Sweden, an independent foundation founded and funded by KJCF.
Signatur Foundation Sweden promotes a vibrant Nordic music life by widening access to music education, improving opportunities to enjoy high-quality music, broadening participation and fostering cultural integration through music. It also supports related performing arts such as dance, ballet and theatre.
